Jonathan created Gambit in 2021 and has continually strived to organize the best chess tournaments he could possibly organize. He is a registered Tournament Director, will have the awesome opportunity of organizing chess tournaments, and will be there to see it all unfold. He has been playing chess since 8th grade and was introduced to chess when he passed by a room where people were having a lot of fun and wondered what was happening in there. His most notable victory is achieving the first place trophy for the 2019 Florida Regional Championship in the K-12 U1200 while he was only rated 828. From then on, Jonathan has only gotten better at chess and hopes to allow people the same opportunity!
